Indie Developer Mr. Phil Games has announced Crimson Crisis, an upcoming sci-fi bullet heaven roguelite set on Mars. The game will feature procedurally-generated content, unique status effects, and local co-op multiplayer.
One of the most notable features of Crimson Crisis is its extensive modding support. Players will be able to add new weapons, enemies, mods, and other content to the game after launch. This means that the game will continue to evolve and grow over time, with new content being added by the community.
Lead developer Philip Ludington said: “We’re excited to announce Crimson Crisis and give players a chance to experience our intense action roguelike gameplay set on Mars. We’ve built the game with an extensive modding system so players can inject their creativity into it. We can’t wait to see what players come up with, and we hope the community will become involved in the development process.”
Crimson Crisis is scheduled to release during 2024 in Early Access and is now available to be wishlisted on Steam.
