NeoCoreGames, the developer and publisher of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has announced that the game is set to leave Early Access and make its full launch on April 26, 2022. This comes after the initial launch date was moved from February 15, 2022, then again on March 29th of the same year.
“Content and gameplay-wise, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is mostly finished and ready for release, but over these additional four weeks we’ll be focusing on improving voice acting and finishing localization tasks, in addition to testing, ensuring our players get the best and smoothest launch experience possible.”, said NeoCoreGames in a Steam announcement.
Along with the announcement of the full launch are the new features included in the full release. Its Campaign Mode is far from over as three new acts will be added. Also, more endgame content is on its way as the devs hint at even more challenges and the opportunity to face even greater bosses.
A PvP Mode has also been announced where users can pit their skills against other players in select PvP maps specifically made for this mode. Custom PvP mode is also available, enabling users to spice up their PvP fights by adding or removing powerups, items, and terrain advantages.
NeoCoreGames also looks to improve the game’s voice acting, as well as its localization tasks to improve the game’s feel.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Knight’s Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.
