It happened. It finally happened.
After spending over a year being a PS5 exclusive, the critically-acclaimed third-person shooter roguelite Returnal will be exclusive no more.
After numerous leaks and rumors have surfaced, Sony has confirmed that the game is coming to the PC in its announcement during The Game Awards.
Returnal is a third-person shooter roguelite developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game follows Selene Vassos, an astronaut who lands on the planet Atropos searching for the mysterious “White Shadow” signal and finds herself trapped in a time loop.
The game generally received favorable reviews and numerous awards and nominations, including winning the “Best Action” award at last year’s Game Awards and Best Game at the 18th British Academy Games Awards.
Further details have yet to be announced, but Returnal is currently slated to be released on the PC via Steam in early 2023.
