One of the most popular FPS roguelites in the market, Roboquest, is set to officially launch on November 7, 2023. The full 1.0.0 version will include a host of new features and content, including:
- More levels
- Final boss and final level
- A new class
- New weapons, new perks
- Gadget rework
- Quests, secrets, and NPCs
- Power crystals, data logs, and final cinematics
- Game polish and performance updates overall
- Multiplayer issues resolved for Microsoft Store and Gamepass players
In addition, developer RyseUp Studios is also already planning post-launch content updates for Roboquest. They are considering implementing some kind of “late game” content, such as things to do after players have finished the main game. They are also thinking about adding more classes, perks, and weapons to the game, as well as implementing some kind of “Wrench sink” – the ability to spend Wrenches once players have unlocked everything in the basecamp.
The devs also said that they are still unsure if they will be able to implement an in-run save system, but they are looking into it. They have also implemented a speculative fix for the mouse input issues that some players have been experiencing.
