Hello, roguemates! Cerebro here from Roguelites.com and this week seems to be the calm before the storm as we only have 5 roguelite games coming out, so let’s get through all of them!
Our first game this week is Ancient Guardians: The Dragon, a 2D action roguelite.
You control a dragon that guards the mystical forest against invading humans. Walk and fly around the map while casting your spells at enemies and dodging projectiles.
There are many cards that can be combined with their abilities according to your strategy. Your goal is to get as far as possible, while the enemies get stronger and more skillful.
Set the forest ablaze when Ancient Guardians: The Dragon launches on February 6.
This wacky roguelite has finally found its way to the PlayStation consoles: the dice-based deckbuilder roguelite Dicey Dungeons.
Become a giant walking dice, explore dungeons, and defy Lady Luck.
Play as six different characters, each with their own unique play styles and abilities. Master each class and figure out which one best fits your style in this charming world filled with a growing array of twists and secrets.
In addition to the base game, PlayStation players will most likely receive the “Reunion” free DLC, so do look forward to Dicey Dungeons as it launches on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 6.
One of the anticipated releases last year is set to fully launch this week and adds a port launch to boot! We’re talking about the Grimdark Deckbuilder roguelite Nadir.
Engage in card battles where each card can be played in two ways, depending on its color: blue or red. Balance between them to your advantage, but be careful, as your every action charges the abilities of the enemy.
Prepare for card duality when Nadir fully launches on the PC and the Nintendo Switch on February 7.
Test your skills, reflex, tenacity & guts in Legion of Doom, a 2D bullet heaven roguelite.
The game puts you in the shoes of brave and relentless heroes, set on a difficult and demanding quest: defeating the legendary and formidable Legion of Doom.
Prepare for mayhem when Legion of Doom launches on the Nintendo Switch on February 10.
The last game this week is Mystic Gate, a twin-stick shooter roguelite.
Dodge, dart, and defeat hordes of enemies through procedurally generated dungeons. Collect unique loot as you better your odds of surviving each playthrough with rare items to power up your character for the next run!
Hordes and powerful bosses look to make your life a living (bullet) hell. Level up and loot where you can in order to make it to the end! Achieve greatness against all odds and grant that elusive final wish!
It’s time to open the Mystic Gate as it launches on February 10.
