Developer and Publisher Fatshark has announced “7 Years of Tide“, and the month-long celebration begins with one of the most popular first-person action roguelites in the market being offered for free for users to keep.
From November 3 to 7, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is completely free to keep on Steam. For those who are unfamiliar with the game, it is the first-person action roguelite based on the vast Warhammer universe and is the second game of the “Tide” series.
Those who manage to get the free game will also be able to get a free “Trail of Treachery” content update on November 8. This contains the first of a two-part adventure: A Treacherous Adventure. The second mission will be released in 2023. You can view the trailer below:
In addition, all players will receive Double XP between November 3rd to 16th.
The celebration culminates with the release of the third “Tide” game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
The game was initially released back in March 2018 on Steam and then on Xbox One and Playstation 4 in that order with a 4-5 month gap in between consoles. An Xbox Series X/S version was also released in December 2020 and has since become one of the more popular roguelites in the market.
